Our sport manifesto:

Sports are one of the significant fields of our time. They involve people from around the world and are constantly evolving. Sports can be practiced directly or watched as a spectacle, but they are an important source for everyone because they can fulfill several roles:

  • Play, which is inherent in its nature, involves joy and creativity, encouraging individuals or communities to use their free time
  • Culture, as it allows people to better understand their surroundings and environment
  • Health, because it improves everyone's physical condition
  • Education, as it contributes to balanced personal development, regardless of age
  • Social, as it promotes a united society, fights against intolerance, racism, and violence, and aids in the integration of social minorities
  • Ethics and Spiritual, because by adhering to moral values, it aims to contribute to the complete development of the human person
  • Religious, because by developing each person's potential, it leads to an appreciation of life, which, for believers, is a gift from God

Sports are a simple method of communication between people and convey important messages:

  • To achieve your goals, you must be deeply committed
  • You need to know your limits and capabilities
  • It's important not to give up at the first sign of a problem
  • Victory and defeat are part of human life, so it's necessary to win without ambition, without humiliating your opponents, and to accept defeat, being aware that it's not a tragedy and that we can only win by giving our best effort
  • We must respect the rules of the game and respect the opponent without exasperation, in any competition

We believe that the function and potential of sports should be protected and strengthened because there are new phenomena that endanger the ethics and principles of sports.

Sports should not become a dividing element between the rich and the poor. Moreover, the material wealth of athletes should not deprive sports of their moral values.

Seeking and educating new talents among minors in no way means violating the fundamental rights of children: the right to play, to be educated, and to live a peaceful life with their families.

The nature of sports should not be violated by using products or resorting to practices that can endanger the athlete's health or unfairly alter competition results.

We wish for sports to:

  • Place the human person and the protection of their physical and moral integrity at the center of action
  • Allow people to pursue their ideals and discover values that improve the quality of individual and social life
  • Develop the human person in a way that highlights aspects of fair, friendly, and joyful encounters, open to cooperation, even in important competitions or professional careers
  • Respect the needs and physical capacity of everyone, regardless of age and social condition, without excluding the weak, the poor, the elderly, or people with disabilities
  • Contribute to supporting the idea of peace, cooperation among people, and the development of poor countries

We commit to promoting, organizing, and expressing sports in the following manner:

  • Especially for children and young people, sports should be a school of democracy, participation, and solidarity
  • Sports must reject any form of discrimination, intolerance, and violence, and overcome any example of prejudice or nationalist pride
  • Sports must refuse any form of exaggeration or exploitation and any practice that gives more importance to economic interest and success than to the human person
